CASNR students featured in December commencement ceremonies

More than 2,500 Texas Tech students, including 172 undergraduates from the College
of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, received diplomas at the university's
fall commencement ceremonies on Saturday (Dec. 11) at the United Supermarkets Arena in Lubbock.
Separately, outstanding students carried banners representing their respective colleges.
Grace Blackwell, an agricultural and applied economics major from Checotah, Oklahoma, represented
CASNR. Administrators selected the banner bearers based on all-around achievement.
In addition, Texas Tech officials recognized other CASNR highest-ranking fall graduates. They included:
- Samantha Barnett, an agricultural communications major from Florence, Texas
- Grace Blackwell, an agricultural and applied economics major from Checotah, Oklahoma
- Riley Bridgewater, an animal science major from Canyon Lake, Texas
- Kylie Harlan, an agricultural communications major from Bells, Texas
- Lacy Jackson, an agricultural communications major from Seminole, Texas
- Megan Letkeman-Dueck, an animal science major from Seminole, Texas
- Anjali Patel, animal science major from Sugar Land, Texas
- Jonathan Peters, a plant and soil science major from Sudan, Texas
- Bailey Wheeler, an animal science from Buffalo Gap, Texas
Graduation undergraduate recipients from individual departments and majors included:
