Davis College Ambassadors for Agriculture offer new hats for fall
By: Norman Martin
Texas Tech's Davis College of Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources is set to dress you for success, or at minimum make it clear that youre easily more identifiable with Davis College. Maeley Herring, Program Manager for Student Retention, reports that six updated caps are available for the fall semester.
Five of the $15 baseball-style caps highlight a Masked Rider logo with ‘Davis College - College of Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources stitched on the back. Colors include black, gray, khaki, red and white. Also, new this year is a ventilated, black and white ($25) version that sports an offset Davis College lock-up.
Herring said the caps are being offered by the Ambassadors for Agriculture as a fundraiser. The new hats may be purchased in the student success center, which is located in the Davis College Dean's Office Suite (Goddard Building).
The Ambassadors for Agriculture are dedicated to spreading the story of American agriculture and opportunities for youth in the broad fields of agriculture and natural resources. They're available to speak on motivational and informative topics relating to youth opportunities at banquets, high school assemblies or classes, commencement exercises, agricultural science classes, and other similar types of meetings.
