
Chenggang Wang, an associate professor with the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics,
joined the Texas Tech faulty in 2007. His research broadly centers on natural resource
economics and rural development with a focus on land, water, and the behavior of low-income
households whose livelihood depends on those resources. He has travelled extensively
on the Tibetan Plateau conducting field research. His doctorate in agricultural and
resource economics is from Oregon State University.
