More than 160 undergraduates from the Davis College of Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources, received diplomas at the university's fall commencement ceremonies on Saturday (Dec. 16) at the United Supermarkets Arena in Lubbock.

Separately, outstanding students carried banners representing their respective colleges. Wrye Akers, an agricultural education major from Abernathy, Texas, represented Davis College. Administrators selected the banner bearers based on all-around achievement.

In addition, Texas Tech officials recognized other Davis College highest-ranking fall graduates. They include Bethany Crenwelge, an animal science major from Fredericksburg, Texas.
