Guidance for Emeritus Submissions

Emeritus appointment requests are presented to the Board of Regents twice each year, in February and August.

 

February Board of Regents Meeting

Applications for Emeritus appointments should be routed through the college dean's office and submitted to the Office of the Provost via SharePoint by December 1^st. This submission cycle applies to retirements effective August 1 through December 31 and will be presented at the February Board of Regents meeting.

College delegates will receive the SharePoint link when the submission site opens in the fall.

Following Board approval, the Office of the Provost will prepare approval letters and notify colleges when they are available for pickup. To maintain confidentiality, approval letters must be picked up by a college staff member or faculty member from the Office of the Provost.

Please note: Submissions received after the December 1 deadline will be held for presentation at the August Board of Regents meeting.

 

August Board of Regents Meeting

Applications for Emeritus appointments should be routed through the college dean's office and submitted to the Office of the Provost via SharePoint by June 1^st. This submission cycle applies to retirements effective January 1 through July 31 and will be presented at the August Board of Regents meeting.

Please notify Michele Hinds of all submissions at michele.hinds@ttu.edu. SharePoint links will be distributed only to colleges with Emeritus submissions scheduled for presentation to the Board of Regents.
