TTU SACNAS Student Chapter
Are you interested in holding a leadership position with a nationally and locally
recognized leadership team? Formed 10 years ago, TTU SACNAS was the first undergraduate
student chapter from SACNAS National. We have been recognized as:
1. Top 12 of 2012 from the Cross-Cultural Center (for exemplifying diversity)
2. Top 13 of 2013 from the CCAAC (for exemplifying diversity)
3. SACNAS National recognized Model Chapter 2010-2013 for outstanding membership
4. Interviews by Latino Lubbock Magazine and Telemundo
WHY JOIN?
1. Officers have a higher chance of being accepted to attend the SACNAS National Conference
in Los Angeles FOR FREE!
2. We host community outreach events, travel to national conferences, participate
in science outreach, and celebrate our SACNAS family through socials!
3. We provide resources for classmates, pre-college students, and YOU, so that everybody
has access to knowledge about research on campus! We really do make a difference in
our community.
We are so proud of our TTU SACNAS chapter for winning two awards at the 2015 National
Conference in Washington D.C.
