Announcing the 2022 Italian Study Abroad Scholarships

Two $500 scholarships will be awarded with the Dr. Aldo Finco Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Award Criteria 

· Minimum 2.0 GPA

· Preference given to Italian minors

· Preference given to students demonstrating financial need

· Students must be planning to participate in the TTU in Sicily program in Summer 1 2023

Awards Announced:        March 1, 2023
Decision Deadline:          March 20, 2023

Award Conditions 

• Scholarship awards are contingent upon enrollment and participation in TTU in Sicily. If a student receives and accepts an award but does not ultimately study abroad, their award will be withdrawn. 
   
• If a student is not accepted to TTU in Sicily and/or decides to enroll in a different study abroad program, the student must notify the Italian Language Foundations Director Dr. Sarah Cantor immediately.
   
• Awardees must commit to completing all study abroad follow-up activities as specified in the award letter. Such activities may include, for example, presentations to other students interested in the program or the creation of videos in response to reflection prompts during and after the study abroad experience.
