Program Overview
Industrial, Manufacturing, and Systems Engineering focuses on improving complex systems that involve people, machines, materials, information, and energy. Industrial engineers find ways to reduce waste, improve productivity, strengthen safety, and design better processes across production, service, and healthcare environments.
At Texas Tech, students build a foundation in engineering, mathematics, physical sciences, behavioral sciences, systems thinking, and management. The program prepares students to plan, control, design, and manage systems where products are produced, services are provided, and people work within those systems.
