Student Handbook & Student Code of Conduct
A University, like any community, must have regulations and/or standards by which its members abide and procedures by which its organization functions. The standards should provide order and an atmosphere conducive to intellectual and personal development. This Student Handbook and the Code of Student Conduct contained within are intended to serve these purposes in the interest of all segments of Texas Tech University.
Student Handbook
The Texas Tech University Student Handbook serves as a comprehensive guide to university policies, procedures, and student rights. It includes important information on academic standards, campus resources, student conduct, grievance processes, and safety protocols. Designed to help students navigate university life, the handbook promotes a respectful, inclusive, and supportive campus environment. All students are expected to be familiar with its contents to ensure they meet the responsibilities of being a member of the TTU community.
Student Code of Conduct
The Texas Tech University (TTU) Student Code of Conduct outlines the expectations for student behavior both on and off campus. It promotes a safe, respectful, and academically honest environment by defining standards related to academic integrity, personal conduct, and community responsibility. The Code addresses issues such as plagiarism, alcohol and drug use, harassment, and other forms of misconduct. Overall, the Code is designed to support TTUs mission of fostering ethical, responsible, and engaged citizens.
