Education
- Ph.D. Washington University, St.Louis
Research
- Mineral Geochemistry
- Geochronology of Sedimentary Systems
My academic background and interests are in planetary geochemistry. I develop and apply methods for microbeam (LA-ICPMS, MLA) analyses of elemental and isotopic compositions of minerals to understand the origin and evolution of Earth's early crust, meteorites and impact melt rocks, precious metal minerals, base metal sulfides and iron ores, and provenance of heavy minerals in sedimentary rocks.
Courses
- GCH 5300 - Individual Studies in Geochemistry: Sedimentary Provenance
- GCH 5360 - Radiogenic Isotope Geochemistry
- GCH 5371 - Analytical Methods in Laser Ablation ICPMS
