Graduate Certificate in Social Entrepreneurship
Program Summary
The Social Entrepreneurship program empowers innovators and changemakers to design ventures that not only succeed in the marketplace but also create meaningful social impact. This five-course graduate certificate equips students with the tools to apply entrepreneurial thinking to real-world problems—whether as a complement to a discipline-specific graduate degree or as a launchpad for building purpose-driven startups.
The graduate certificate will support the efforts of the newly formed Danielle Alexandra & Richard L. Clemmer Institute for Social Entrepreneurship and Enterprise at Texas Tech University. This graduate certificate program will be important to anyone who wants to become an agent of change in the social sector, to learn how to help individuals design and launch social entrepreneurial organizations (for profit, non-profit and hybrid), to become involved in social investing and philanthropy, and to participate in social change projects in their local community, nation, or world.
