Spring 2027 Graduation Deadlines

Friday, January 22, 2027, is the last day to submit a Spring 2027 Graduation Application.

If you need to update your expected graduation date prior to submitting your graduation application, please do so via your Student Dashboard.

Note: Late applications will not be accepted. If you do not submit your application by the deadline, you will be required to submit for Summer 2027 and enroll in coursework during the term to complete your degree.

Those completing a Graduate Certificate must also apply to graduate by Friday, January 22, 2027.

Wednesday, February 10, 2027,(or at least 3 weeks prior to your defense date) is the last day for Doctoral & Master Thesis students to have their Defense Notification form submitted by their department via the Enrollment Services Portal.

Friday, March 26, 2027, is the last day to defend Thesis & Dissertations. Signatures from committee members on the Oral Defense and Thesis Dissertation Approval Form must be obtained. Please work with your department to initialize the form before your defense date.

Note: The Thesis-Dissertation Approval Form with ALL committee members' signatures should be turned in within two weeks of your defense or no later than this deadline. This will be submitted by your department via the Enrollment Services Portal.

Friday, March 27, 2027, is the last day for Master’s Non-Thesis students to complete comprehensive evaluations for the Master’s degree. Reports on the evaluation are not due until Thursday, April 23, 2027.

Friday, April 2, 2027, is the last day to submit a final committee-approved copy of your thesis or dissertation for review.

A final copy of your thesis or dissertation must be submitted in PDF format to the ETD website within two weeks of your defense or no later than the posted date.

Documents must comply with the Graduate School formatting guidelines.

Friday, April 2, 2027, is the last day for music performance students to submit one copy of performance recording as well as submitting of recital programs in PDF format to the ETD Website. For more information on MM-DMA submissions, click here.

Friday, April 16, 2027, is the last day to remove grades of I, PR, or CR in the Graduate School. This does not apply to CR’s received on a previous thesis or dissertation enrollment.

• Friday, April 16, 2027, is the tentative deadline to order graduation regalia online.

• Doctoral & Master’s students may order Regalia online here.

Thursday, April 22, 2027, is the deadline to submit official reports on final comprehensive evaluation for the Master’s degree (non-thesis students). Results will be submitted by your department via the Enrollment Services Portal.

Thursday, April 22, 2027, is the deadline for committee chairs to submit Portfolio reports for Master’s Interdisciplinary students.

Thursday, April 22, 2027, is the last day to pay the thesis-dissertation fee posted to your university bill. This is a required fee.

Tuesday, May 4, 2027, is the last day to submit commencement participation deferral agreement. To request deferment, please contact Enrollment Services via email, enrollment.services.gradschool@ttu.edu

Complete the Survey of Earned Doctorates.

Commencement time and location details will be emailed to students’ mid-semester. Please notify Enrollment Services if your diploma mailing address changes.
