Say Yes to FCS Teaching Camp

Would you like to learn more about teaching in Family and Consumer Sciences? Texas Tech's Say Yes to FCS Teaching Camp will focus on interactive activities that will show you various teaching techniques in eight Family and Consumer Sciences courses: child development, mental and health counseling, culinary, dollars and sense, fashion design, hotel and restaurant management, interior design, and instructional practices. As a camp member, you will also get to take a tour of our Family & Consumer Sciences Education program and the other programs within the College of Human Sciences at Texas Tech. Further, you will receive great TTU swag and food during the camp. Lunch will be provided each day.

Who Can Attend?

Incoming 9th through 12th-grade students

Cost

$25 per camper. Can be paid with cash or check on the first day of camp, or online here.
