About me

Hometown: I grew up in Las Vegas, NV, and moved to Alabama to get my undergraduate degree in psychology with a minor in human development and family sciences. After receiving my degree, I moved to the Atlanta area and worked in medical administration before beginning the post-baccalaureate program here at TTU.

Professional Goal(s): My plan for the future is to remain in academia and do research in the area of psychological abuse in romantic relationships. My main goal is to design interventions to help adolescents and emerging adults recognize signs of abuse in their own relationships.

“Words of Wisdom” for Prospective Students: Don't be afraid to ask for help! If you have a “stupid question” that you're too self-conscious to ask, chances are, someone else is wondering the exact same thing. Lean on your cohort and faculty when you need them; that's what they're there for.

My Leisure Interests: I enjoy indie games, horror-themed video essays, and animation. I also love creative writing, although I tend to spend more time thinking about writing than actually doing it.
