Ryan Bain is originally from Arlington, Texas. She graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 2016 with a bachelor's in business marketing and management. Ryan is currently pursuing her master's in hospitality with a focus on events and wine at Texas Tech University. In 2018, Ryan started working at Texas Tech University with the Center for Transformative Undergraduate Experiences (TRUE). She was in multiple roles before ending her tenure with TRUE as the Administrator for Undergraduate Research and Events. She is now working at the Innovation Hub at Texas Tech as their Program Manager.   

Ryan is very involved in the Lubbock community and loves networking with others. She is an event coordinator even in her downtime and has worked in the wine industry at local wineries, planning and coordinating events ever since moving to Lubbock in 2016. Ryan is married and her husband Jeff also works at Texas Tech University with the Police Department. She has an entrepreneurial soul and founds a local non-profit for West Texas law enforcement in 2018. She is also a member and volunteers with the Junior League of Lubbock after joining in 2019. One day, Ryan would love to own her own event center as well as a vineyard. 

In her free time, Ryan enjoys spending time with family and friends (more importantly her blue heeler puppy), being outdoors, going hiking and camping, attending all the Texas Tech sporting events she can, and is passionate about all things Texas Tech!
