Nafas Emadlou is a doctoral student in Hospitality, Tourism, and Retail management. She has studied Italian language and literature at the University of Tehran and the University of Siena. Then she received her master's degree in Design of Sustainable Tourism Systems from University of Florence, Italy. Nafas is currently employed as a teaching assistant. Her research interest is in applying sustainable tourism through creative approaches for the development of destinations. Given the undeniable role of technology in the hospitality and tourism industry, her future research plan is to explore how destinations can take advantage of the combination of innovative technologies and creative approaches for their sustainable development. Outside of university, when Nafas has free time, she likes to translate books from Italian and English to Persian. Nafas is a poetess. She also spends her free time learning new technologies.
