In 2009, at 19, I went into the active-duty Army and conducted combat operations in Afghanistan for most of 2011.  I finished my service with the Texas National Guard while completing my Associates in Diesel Service Technology at South Plains College.

I graduated in Restaurant, Hotel, & Institutional Management (RHIM) in 2019 at Texas Tech.  During college, I worked for restaurants and food service (Funky Door and UMC Café).  Luckily, I was introduced to HRM during my undergrad and finished Category Management and Buyers Research (a graduate class). If it wasn't for Covid, I wouldn't have had the opportunity to go to Graduate school and get my Masters in Retail Management (Dec. 2021) where I got to do my summer internship at Bass Pro Base Camp as a Firearms Merchant. Afterwards, I went into wine and spirits sales in Amarillo for a couple years before getting hired at Custom Truck One Source in Odessa, TX.

My current duties involve looking at current used/new heavy equipment inventory and managing thirty customer companies while trying to attain rental/new product sales goals that range in the millions of dollars. My territory spans from west Texas to Arizona.
