- Grew up in Iowa on a family farm still in operation for 100 plus years. First restaurant experience was at Zindrick's Czech Restaurant in historic Czech Village Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
- Studied Culinary Arts and graduated from ACF program at Kirkwood Community College Cedar Rapids,Iowa
- Opened Colosseum Bistro in Columbia, MO as sous chef and promoted to Executive Chef
- Worked as Chef Tournant for Lodge Of Four Seasons Resort with three restaurants on property and trained under former Hawaii Chef of the year for banquet functions.
- Banquet Chef for Wyndham Hotel downtown Phoenix, Arizona
- Manager of Purchasing Overton Hotel Lubbock, Texas
- Working for Labatt in West Texas is great to help operators source new menu items and develop the new menus into a better quality than the last menu. At the same time, always helping them balance the quality and labor of their operation is so important.
