The following projects are currently undertaken in the CNHI Lab:

  • Investigating the fatty acid profiles of breastmilk and the pathways that connect food security, social support systems and nutritional status of lactating women in the Free State Province, South Africa
  • Health benefits of soy for human health, addressing the double burden of malnutrition among vulnerable population groups in South Africa

  • Nutrition policy and governance and multi-sectorial nutrition governance in Kenya
