Texas Tech University

Student Mental Health Community

The Student Mental Health Community (SMHC) provides a supportive environment to help Texas Tech students establish, sustain, and enhance their mental health.

Our mission is to enhance and provide support for students' mental health through participating in a community of peers with support from trained staff. Students can gather in a safe space with like-minded peers to support, encourage, and provide friendship to each other while pursuing mental health and wellbeing. The SMHC space is located at the northeast corner on the 2nd floor of Weeks Hall near office 229

All Texas Tech undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to join our community.
