Student Mental Health Community

The Student Mental Health Community, or SMHC, provides a welcoming space where Texas Tech students can connect with peers, build community and support their mental health and well-being.

Students can spend time in the SMHC space, participate in peer support meetings and activities and connect with trained staff and other campus resources. All Texas Tech undergraduate and graduate students are welcome.

SMHC is located on the second floor of Weeks Hall, near office 217.

Hours & Meeting Schedule

Students are welcome to use the SMHC space during regular open hours. Peer support meetings are available in person and online.

Monday

Open: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

In-Person Mental Health Meeting:
3-4 p.m.

Tuesday

Open: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Wednesday

Open: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Thursday

Open: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Online Mental Health Meeting:
Noon-1 p.m.
