Mental Health Peer Support at Texas Tech

The Student Mental Health Community (SMHC) provides a supportive environment to help Texas Tech students establish, sustain, and enhance their mental health.

Our mission is to enhance and provide support for students' mental health through participating in a community of peers with support from trained staff. Students can gather in a safe space with like-minded peers to support, encourage, and provide friendship to each other while pursuing mental health and wellbeing. The SMHC space is located on the west side of Weeks Hall on the 2nd floor.

All Texas Tech undergraduate and graduate gtudents are welcome to join our community.
