Chyrel Mayfield

As the Director for Texas Tech K-12 Instructional Design, Chyrel Mayfield oversees the work of the Instructional Design team. She has worked at Texas Tech University since May 2010.

She has been involved in online learning for over 20 years. This has included K-12 education, higher education, and extension outreach. At Texas Tech K-12, she oversees the design and delivery of courses that are built for student success in the online learning environment.

Prior to coming to Texas Tech, Mayfield worked for Texas AgriLife Extension, Department of Ecosystem Science and Management, in the area of online learning.

Mayfield enjoys traveling, reading, bicycling, and spending time with her family.
