Robert Bayard brings more than 20 years of experience in public education to his role as superintendent of Texas Tech K-12, a district focused on serving students whose needs may not be met in traditional settings. With a background in curriculum transformation, data analytics and technology integration, Bayard is committed to expanding access, enhancing instruction and supporting student success around the world.

A former deputy superintendent, chief technology officer and education consultant, Bayard is known for his inclusive leadership and data-driven strategies. He plans to strengthen Texas Tech K-12’s curriculum, develop new partnerships and lead infrastructure improvements to support flexible, student-centered learning.

Bayard holds a Doctor of Education in educational leadership and has helped design community-based accountability systems used by districts across Texas. His leadership is expected to expand Texas Tech K-12’s reach and impact in online education, both statewide and internationally.
