In the works for quite some time, TTU K-12 officials are excited to announce an accelerated admissions process to Texas Tech University for graduates of its high school program.

While there are many details to the process, the quick-look, comprehensive process includes both stateside and international graduates of Texas Tech University High School. Students meeting Texas Tech University admission requirements and fast-track requirements will be assured admission to the university.

"This is a natural fit," said Jared Lay, director of Recruitment and International Partnerships for TTU K-12 and Texas Tech's eLearning & Academic Partnerships. "These students are already part of the Red Raider family, having finished our high school program. Some have been with us since kindergarten."

Lay is thrilled that both Texas Tech's Office of Undergraduate Admissions and the Office of International Admissions have each embraced a plan, giving TTU K-12 students from all over the world the opportunity to attend Texas Tech.

"It's a win-win for both the students and for the university," Lay said. "We can't wait to welcome our TTU K-12 graduates to Texas Tech University."
