Final Examination Directions

All Lesson Assignments and Checkpoints must be submitted and graded before you are allowed to take the Final Exam. Your Final Exam will not appear until these conditions are met.

When all of your lessons have been submitted and graded by your instructor, you will have access to your final examination. A clickable link to the exam will appear in the Final Exam section of your course.

This exam will be completed without any resources present (e.g., no notes, books, assistance from others), so be sure that you have fully prepared and studied before attempting the exam.

Your final exam will be completed online and will be proctored by an online proctoring service, Proctorio. This will allow you to take your exam at any time after the exam is available to you. Remember that you must have a working microphone and webcam available, and remain in full view of the camera, in order to use Proctorio. For more information about Proctorio, please visit our Remote Proctoring page.

Just like an in-person proctored exam, it is important to ensure academic honesty during your remote proctored final. Your testing area should be clear of all items other than your computer for the exam and your face and eyes must be in full view of the camera as you are testing. Failure to adhere to these rules will result in you receiving a zero on the exam. Examples of items that are not allowed are:

  • Books
  • Notes
  • Notebooks
  • Calculator (unless otherwise specified)
  • Cell phones
  • Other electronic and wireless devices (iPad, tablets, etc.)

TTU K-12 allows the student a maximum of three continuous hours to complete the exam.

You may not open other browser tabs during the exam (unless otherwise specified). Other acceptable tabs would include links provided in the exam such as TTU K-12 provided formula sheets or other TTU K-12 provided resources.

You may NOT exit the exam for any reason. If you experience technical difficulties, please try to log in again and message your teacher to let them know.

The exam must be taken before your expiration date.

Students who score below 70% on the final exam will be eligible for one re-exam opportunity. If you score below 70% on your final exam, a second final exam will become available. Please wait several days before attempting the second final exam. This will give your instructor time to grade your first exam and allow you to study for the re-exam. This exam is also proctored using Proctorio.

Your course grade will be calculated as follows:

  • 50% coursework average;
  • 50% summative assessment average, including the final exam.
  • A passing course grade is 70 or higher.

Once your exam has been graded and your final course grade has been certified, an official grade report will be sent to your local school or placed on your TTU K-12 transcript.

Good luck on your examination!
