Introduction: Week 2
This week you will be monitoring, clarifying, and summarizing what you are reading. By determining the central idea and author’s purpose you will develop comprehension skills that will help you to understand what you read. In writing, you will begin prewriting, drafting, and begin revising a personal narrative.

- Writer’s Notebook
After you have completed all the activities for Week 2, return to the Module 1 folder to begin Week 3.
