Vocabulary
In this section you will add new vocabulary words and practice with Vocabulary Cards 1.27-1.30.
These are non-graded learning activities, but it is important to review the material before completing the daily lesson. You will not need to submit any materials to the teacher.
These learning activities focus on:
- adding new words and definitions to your vocabulary; and
- reviewing the power words from the required readings.
Note: Keep the vocabulary words and their definitions in your Writer’s Notebook so you may refer to them when needed.
To prepare for the lesson:
- Download the Module 1 Vocabulary Cards for Week 2, Day 4. Only review the vocabulary words noted below.
- You may also refer to the HMH Learning Resources handout to access the additional learning resources for the stories in your online textbook.
