Foundational Skills
Foundational Skills
The Foundational Skills learning activities focus on a mixture of learning high-frequency words, phonological awareness, and phonics. This is a non-graded learning activity, but it is important to review the material before completing the daily lesson.
To prepare for the lesson:
- Download the Week 3, Day 2 teaching slides: Foundational Skills (1.3) Day 2 PowerPoint.
- You will find detailed instructions to assist with daily teaching slides in the notes section of the PowerPoint; download the Week 3, Day 2 slide notes for reference.
- You will use the same Week 3 Practice Handouts you downloaded on Day 1.
Now, go through the daily teaching slides for Day 2 with your student.
