All incoming students (first-year and transfer students, including distance learners) must complete this course in its entirety during their first semester of enrollment by the due date listed in their tasklist (November 15th for Fall 2025 enrollment and April 15th for Spring 2025 enrollment) as mandated by Federal and state legislation.

RISE Modules is a task in the Admitted Student Tasklist. In this tasklist, there are instructions to access and complete the RISE modules. Students can log-in to the courses via an e-mail they receive to their TTU inbox or access Vector here. Students must use their TTU email and password to sign in to receive credit.

The RISE modules typically take 1.5-2 hours. We encourage you to complete the modules in one sitting, but you may complete them over various sessions; just don't forget to complete it by the due date.

The course includes surveys to help personalize the experience and measure students' attitudes and behaviors. All survey responses are anonymous. The RISE office will receive statistics about the student body as a whole but will not be able to link answers to individual students. A student may opt out of answering these questions by selecting the option on drop down menus stating so. 

You will be assigned the online modules on the first day of class. When you receive your email to complete the course, the due date is listed in the email. RISE module completion is due November 15th for Fall 2025 enrollment and April 15th for Spring 2025 enrollment. Any student required to take this course, but fails to do so by these dates, will receive a hold on their account. 

If the required modules are not completed within the time frame specified above, a transcript and grade-view hold will be placed on each student account. Please note: This hold does not prohibit you from registering for classes or attending class.

To remove the hold, you must fully complete the RISE modules. Upon completion, your hold will be removed within 2-5 business days as this is a manual process. Contact the RISE office upon completion by emailing rise@ttu.edu with your name and R number, and certification of completion.

These programs are an effective way to reach the entire incoming student population and fulfill federal and state mandates for prevention education surrounding Title IX, The Drug Free Schools and Communities Act, The Clery Act, VAWA, and Campus SaVE.
