"If Texas Tech is to keep its message relevant "" especially with the young adults it hopes to attract and retain as students "" it must remain abreast of and utilize emerging, popular new forms of communication," said President Jon Whitmore. "The beauty of YouTube is that it not only allows our university to tell its story in one of the largest online forums available, but also gives students, faculty, staff, alumni and fans the opportunity to act as our ambassadors by submitting and sharing content."
