CASNR members take AAAE outstanding paper, poster awards
Four faculty members and a graduate student from College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources were presented the "Outstanding Paper Award" from American Association for Agricultural Education. The presentation on April 19 was held as part of the organization's western region conference in Park City, Utah.
The paper was titled, "iPod Technology in Graduate Agricultural Education and Communications Courses: A Comparison of Adopters and Non-Adopters." It was prepared by members of the Department of Agricultural Education and Communications (AEC) and Department of Animal and Food Sciences (AFS).

Since its introduction seven years ago, the iPod has dominated the portable media player industry. Its simple interface, navigational scroll wheel and iTunes software program make it relatively simple to use.
Separately, another Texas Tech group was awarded the organization's "Outstanding Research Poster Award." The poster was titled, "An Exploratory Analysis of the Growing Ruralpolitan Population."
