Tracee Murph, Assistant Director of Alumni Relations within Texas Tech's Davis College of Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources, returns to the Board of Directors for the National Agricultural Alumni and Development Association (NAADA) and will assist in the leadership of the 501(c)3 not for profit national organization into 2025 which is the 50th year for the organization.
"I'm thrilled to join NAADA as President and lead the executive leadership team for our Board of Directors,” said Paula Beecher, NAADA President. “I look forward to working alongside Tracee Murph and our entire Board of Directors, who represent a diverse range of backgrounds from across the country.”
"This geographical and professional diversity is crucial for enhancing our organization's mission-critical solutions,” she said. “NAADA's goal is to serve both our universities and the broader agricultural community by providing education, support, and recognition to professionals and volunteers dedicated to advancing agriculture and related disciplines through land-grant and other agricultural partner programs."
Murph's term of service began on July 1 with that of more than 20 other Board Members from across the United States following NAADA's 49th Annual Conference. She will continue to serve as the Communications & Marketing Committee Chair and be responsible for providing guidance on marketing initiatives and materials used to promote the organization to various stakeholders including current members, prospective members and sponsors.
A NAADA member since 2011, Murph joined the organization's Publications & Projects Committee in 2012. She also served on NAADA's Education Committee & Re-branding Ad Hoc Committee.
Murph joined Davis College in 2005 as a student and went on to become a senior business assistant in the college's Development & Alumni Relations Office in 2010 and was named Coordinator of Alumni Relations in 2011. She received a bachelor's degree in agricultural communications with a minor in animal science from Texas Tech. In addition, she was awarded a certificate in equine science.
Since becoming a member institution in the 1990s, Tech's Davis College has won several NAADA Publications and Projects awards, including honors for the college's magazines. Davis College hosted the organization's annual conference in 2011. NAADA provides education and support for professionals, volunteers and student leaders who are dedicated to serving land-grant colleges of agricultural sciences and related programs. The network of members includes institutions from across the U.S.
