Texas Techs Davis College of Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources has appointed Brittyn LeCompte, a recent graduate and animal science alumna, as its new Program Manager – College Recruiter, college officials announced this month.
LeCompte began her role on Monday (Jun. 16) and will be stationed at the colleges Dr. Bill Bennett Student Success Center. LeCompte joins a dedicated team within the Davis College Deans Office responsible for attracting and retaining top-tier students to the colleges seven academic departments.
“Im excited to dive into a program that is passionate about bringing exceptional students to Texas Tech,” LeCompte said. “With every recruiting event, relationship built, and each incoming class, I strive to help Davis College reach its highest potential.”
In her new capacity, LeCompte will aid in efforts to develop and implement the colleges student recruitment strategies. Additionally, I plan to work closely with each department within Davis College to understand and meet the unique interests and needs of all prospective students.”
A key aspect of LeComptes role involves traveling to various off-campus recruiting events and engaging prospective students and guests. She will also coordinate the colleges participation in major university recruitment activities, such as University Days, Red Raider Experience, Raider Roadshows, group tours, Connect Tech, and Techsan Preview Days.
