Established in 2004 by Dale and Debbie Taylor to provide scholarships to students majoring in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources with a preference to students studying meat science. Recipients must have a minimum GPA of 2.5, with a preference to students who may not have an outstanding GPA but how have proven themselves worthy of a scholarship by their leadership skills, dependability and hard work.

Established in 1996 by the Texas Food Processors Association to provide scholarships for sophomore, junior, senior or graduate students majoring in food technology with selection based on academic performance and financial need.

Established in 1992 by Texas Pork Producers Association, Inc. to provide a $500 scholarship for a student interested in swine production with preference for that person to be in Animal Science. Criteria includes scholarship, financial need and preference given to an upper class student.

Established in 1969 by the Texas-New Mexico Dairy Tech Society and family and friends of Dr. J.J. Willingham. The scholarship is provided for undergraduate majors in the Food Technology program selected on the basis of academic achievement and financial need. Established by gifts from friends of Dr. J.J. Willingham, former Dairy Industry Department Chairman. Selected by the Food Technology Faculty and administered by the Chairman of the Animal Science Department.
