Live country-and-western music from Cross Creek Junction – a band made up of Davis College students – will set a tone for the evening, complemented by a hamburger and sausage wrap dinner.
The awards celebration caps two days of strategic planning and faculty events, including a continued rollout of the college’s new ‘Pursuit of Prime’ initiative aimed at elevating its national standing.
Topics included action items related to academic advancement, outreach strategies, alumni engagement, and research development at both state and federal levels.

Sofia Gill, an animal science major from Garland, Texas, carried the banner for Davis College during the ceremony. She was also recognized as the college’s highest-ranking summer graduate.
