Undergraduate Research Assistant Position in Environmental Engineering 

If you are looking for research experience through the TruE Scholars or Undergraduate Research Scholars (URS) program, Dr. Fei has an opening in her lab. Dr. Fei’s lab focuses on colloidal (nano-to-micron scale) systems for environmental engineering applications. We have a project that targets biofilm elimination in water filtration systems, and we welcome undergraduate research assistants. This project is in close collaboration with the TTU Health Science Center's immunology department. Our collaborator has over 40 years of experience and has mentored many undergraduate researchers who aim to pursue graduate school in engineering or medical school. Students involved in this project will learn techniques for culturing bacteria and developing biofilms and will explore methods to eliminate them under the guidance of faculty mentors.
