The Deaprtment of Civil, Environmental, and Construction Engineering (CECE) at Texas Tech University hosts four major student organizations, each offering unique oppportunities for professional development, community engagement, and academic support within the field.

AGC:
AGC Student Chapter aims to focus on construction industry with the steadfast goal of furthering each member's knowledge of the industry, facilitating interation and communication with the business world, building a spirit of teamwork among teh diverse membership, enhancing the community at large, and developing the leadership and organizational skills of each member.
Throughout the semester they are involved in events like Design Build Competition, TEXO, etc.

ASCE:
ASCE Student Chapter at Texas Tech University aims to engage student engineers and encourage them to reach their full potential as professionals.
They are a social/academic organization for engineering students that are interested in gaining additional insight into the professional field of Civil Engineering, some of their major activities include the annual ASCE Steel Bridge, Timber Strong, and Concrete Canoe Competition, Intramural sports team, socials, and community service. They also collaborate with other major TTU and WCOE events Tea on the Key with SWE, Arbor Day, RRO organization fair, etc.

Chi Epsilon:
Chi Epsilon is a student chapter of Civil Engineering Honor Society at Texas Tech University. They have tutoring services for Statistics, Fluids, and Solids and host events like general meetings, info sessions, and other social events. Their motto is, "dedicated to the purpose of maintaining and promoting the status of civil engineering as an ideal profession!"
Their major recent event has been their participation in TechSavvy Civil Engineering Workshop where they introduced the basics of Civil Engineering and Structural components to Middle School students. They built bridges using wood craft sticks and those were then tested for their load carrying capacity.

SEP:
The purpose of the Society of Environmental Professionals is to foster and promote, among the members of the society, interest in all matters pertaining to environmental science, encourage cooperation among the members in major projects related to environmental science, promote social events, develop leadership, and provide programs for the professional development and entertainment of the members.

Other engineering Student Organizations are Engineers for a Sustainable World (ESW), Society of Women Engineers (SWE), WCOE Outreach Raiders, Women in STEM (WIS), etc.
SEAoT:
The TTU SEAoT student chapter gives students who are passionate about structural engineering a place to connect, learn, and grow. Students will have opportunities to network with professionals and fellow students through workshops, info sessions, and socials.
