Patrick Albritton earned his degree in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech in 1996. He is a retired Air Force Colonel, serving as the Civil Engineering Deputy Department Head at the United States Air Force Academy in his last assignment after 25 years of service. His professional interests include project and facility management, business continuity and emergency management. He returned to Texas Tech in 2021 as the Associate Vice President for Auxiliary Services where he oversees 7 departments.
Patrick and his wife Lisa have two sons, Connor who attends Texas Tech, and Colton who will attend Tech in the Fall of 2024.

Guy Bradley, PE, PMP

Guy R. Bradley graduated from Texas Tech University in 1999 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. For 23 years, he has spent his time practicing Utility Engineering on transportation-related projects. He has taken his engineering practices to States outside of Texas, earning Professional Engineering Licenses in the following States: Texas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. Guy also earned his Project Manager Professional certification.
Guy is currently serving as the Director for Utility Management for BGE Dallas Office. He leads a team of 15 engineers and utility engineering professionals. He also serves as a Campus Advocate for Texas Tech University, by coordinating career fair for all BGE. Since graduating from Texas Tech University, Guy furthered his study by completing an MBA from the Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi. Guy spends his spare time volunteering with numerous organizations starting with civil engineering related professional associations, and serves as an Adult Leader for the Boy Scouts of America. Guy volunteers his time as Cub Master for Pack Webelos I, Assistant Scout Master First Class, and District Committee for Advancement because Guy’s two Sons Noah (11) and Jacob (9) are both in the Boy Scouts of America.
An avid triathlete, Guy has traveled to many cities/states/countries to complete races with his wife Rebecca. They along with their sons, Noah and Jacob, make their home in Dallas, Texas.

Michael "Mike" Dellies, PE, CFM, FASE, MSCE

In Memoriam

Mike Dellies attended Michigan State Uni-versity prior to transferring to Texas Tech University where he earned his BSCE in 1983. Upon graduation he moved to Arlington Texas to work for Freese and Nichols in Fort Worth. In 1994, he completed his master’s degree (MS) from University of Texas–Arlington. He was a Water Re-sources Civil Engineer for 39 years and was well known throughout the Engineering community for his dedication to the engineering profession. He earned many awards throughout his career including becoming a Fel-low with American Society of Civil Engineering (ASCE). In January 2021, Mike was promoted to associate at Teague, Nall and Perkins, Inc. (TNP) in Fort Worth, Texas. He served as the department manager for water resources. Mike joined the Mid Cities chapter of Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE) at the urging of his wife, Teresa. While working for Freese and Nichols in 1987, Mike met his future wife, Teresa Lamb, also a Civil Engineer (Structures), and married her on August 13, 1988. They have two beautiful children, Christopher (29) and Elizabeth (27). Mike was devoted to the Knights of Columbus, Council #8512 at St. John’s. Mike was also a committed volunteer and member of Boy Scout troop #434.
Mike’s leadership skills, his huge heart, and uncompromising respect for his fellow human beings drew everyone who ever met him to admire and love him. His quick wit and his infectious laugh will truly be remembered and missed by all who have met him. Although Mike actively volunteered for many organizations, he felt that his greatest personal achievement was being a father to his two children. His love for God came first and was a devout Catholic. He extended this devotion to his family. Mike will be greatly missed by all who have known him, but find comfort knowing he is with our Almighty Father in Heaven.

Ameri Gurley

Ameri Gurley is a Lecturer in the Civ-il, Environmental, and Construction Engineering Department here at Texas Tech University. She began teaching here in the Fall of 2004 and has enjoyed the broad range of courses she has cov-ered in her years here. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 2002 and then quickly completed Master of Sci-ence in Civil Engineering in 2003.
While a student at Texas Tech she enjoyed her work and research in the Debris Impact Facility and time in the Goin’ Band from Raiderland. It was in band that she met Rodney Gurley who she married in 2002. They chose to stay in Lubbock to work and raise three wonderful children, Casey, Hannah, and Evelyn. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she has also worked with Stand-ards Design Group, Inc. as their programmer and wind loads ex-pert.
Ameri is on the executive council for the Teaching Academy and has been honored with multiple teaching awards and recognitions. She is most proud of being a positive influence to her students teaching them the importance of a work-life balance as well as the mechanics of engineering.

David Smith, PE

David Smith graduated with a BSCE from Texas Tech in 2003, and
he joined Halff Associates in January 2004. David spent 19 years in
Halff’s Fort Worth office where he led a public works team managing
projects for several DFW area municipalities. In March 2023, David
was promoted to Operations Manager of Halff’s new Lubbock
office and oversees the day-to-day operations and management of
the Lubbock and Midland offices.
David and his wife Rachel now live in Lubbock, Texas where they
met while both attending Texas Tech University. In his free time, he
enjoys camping, hiking and pretty much any outdoor activity.

Spandana Tummuri, PHD, PE, ENV SP

Dr. Spandana Tummuri is a Vice President and Operations Leader at Jacobs in Houston, Texas. She is an experienced Planner with a doctorate in water resources and 16 years’ ex-perience in completing water supply planning studies, deci-sion support system modeling, hydrologic and hydraulic mod-els, climate adaptation studies, and collection systems studies for state, municipal, and private sectors. She specializes in One Water Initiatives and Integrated Water Management Studies. She is the Ex-Chair of the AWWA Climate Change Committee and has specific technical expertise in climate change adaptation and integrated resource planning. She was the Project Manager for the M71Manual on Climate Action Plans. She is the trustee of the Water Resources and Sustaina-bility Division and also on the board of Journal of AWWA. Dr. Tummuri is currently working on various regional and long-range water supply planning projects and helping major clients in Texas and other states identify potential water sup-ply alternatives.
She has an M.S. in Environmental Engineering and Ph.D. specializing in climate change studies from Texas Tech University.
