Mission

The mission of the X-ray Diffraction Facility at Texas Tech University is to supply publication quality X-ray diffraction analysis for both the TTU system and outside interests. We strive to educate both students and the general public in the science of crystallography. Our main focus is to determine the molecular structure of single crystal materials, as well provide X-ray powder diffraction data for polycrystalline samples. We are a full service facility and are capable of determining the three dimensional structure of organic, inorganic and small macromolecules.
