College of Engineering Publication Grant

About the  grant:

The College of Engineering offers a limited number of competitive grants to support publication in top-tier engineering/scientific journals. These grants are awarded for papers published in prestigious journals where a TTU student or faculty member is the first or co-first author. Each grant covers up to 50% of the total publication fee, though the exact amount depends on available program funding.

Applications are accepted year-round and reviewed within two weeks of submission. Funding decisions are based on both merit and the availability of funds. To be eligible, applications must demonstrate that:

  • The paper has been officially accepted by the journal.
  • The journal is recognized as a top publication in the field, supported by evidence such as impact factor, CiteScore, and relevant journal rankings.
  • A support letter from the department chair clearly states the journal’s standing.
Guideline for application and using the grant:

Applications should be submitted here. Decisions will be made within two weeks of submission, and applicants will be notified directly. If approved, the applicant’s business manager will also be informed.

For questions regarding eligibility and technical qualifications, please contact Dr. Changzhi Li. For inquiries about the funding process, please reach out to Ms. Julie Farley.
