Graduate Student Fellowships
The Whitacre College of Engineering seeks new endowed graduate research fellowships to compete successfully for the most promising graduate students. These students contribute to Texas Tech's and the college's reputations as one of the nation's premier research and teaching institutions and to the recruitment and retention of top faculty. They also inspire and mentor undergraduate students who, in turn, may pursue an advanced degree. Competition for exceptional graduate students is intense and finances often play a deciding factor for students when choosing a graduate program. Graduate fellowships and endowments provide for tuition, work stipends, and living expenses for graduate students so they may focus more fully on the demands of their coursework and research.
