Dr. Wei received a $320K grant from the National Science Foundation Computing and Communication Foundations core program for his research on quantum computing.

Dr. Wei also leads a collaborative project for developing scientific benchmarks that enable researchers to conduct and evaluate quantum computing methodologies with a $750K grant from the Department of Energy via the Funding for Accelerated, Inclusive Research (FAIR) initiative.
