Elvia's dedication to the success of others and to exceptional customer service became evident when she recognized a need for Spanish trainings for our Spanish-speaking only employees. She took the initiative to teach new employee orientation and Equal Employment Opportunity classes in Spanish. She translated Human Resources materials and documents to ensure employees had the same access to information they needed to be successful at Texas Tech. Elvia is fully committed to the mission of Talent Development and takes the time to understand how programs will be perceived by each population. She strives to provide service that exceeds expectations.
