As the Senior Safety Office for EH&S, Brittany has worked diligently on making sure safety of the University is the number one priority. She has helped significantly in classifying the hazards that are present in laboratories that could affect the well being of students, faculty and staff. Doing this has helped the University to mitigate solutions to potential problem areas. One of the biggest contributions Brittany has portrayed is her willingness to help whoever is in need. There was an accident in a laboratory in February that injured several individuals. Brittany was one of the few that went into the affected area to assess and triage those who were injured until emergency medical personnel could arrive. She is truly someone who is willing to the go the extra mile for the safety of others.
