As a Director for University Advising, Cathe is completely committed to the advancement of Texas Tech University students and research. She serves as a resource to the entire Texas Tech community in her position, often meeting with students, running reports, and providing assistance and leadership to other departments. She stays informed of current research on retention, motivation, advising, military veteran students, lower socio-economic students, females in STEM, first-generation students, non-traditional students, online students, and many other student types. When others don't have time, skills, or understanding of students' needs, they know they can always count on Cathe to go above and beyond to demonstrate leadership, compassion, and commitment to get the job done. She truly exhibits the honor and integrity of a seasoned Texas Tech educator.
