Randi Stevens
Manager
Office of International Affairs

Last year Randi Stevens transitioned into a new role as the Facility and Events Manager for the Office of International Affairs. Since this time, she has doubled the building's revenue for facility rentals, managed several building improvement projects, and helped design signage for visitors coming to the International Cultural Center (ICC), all the while serving on various committees and teaching K12 students with a great big smile. In January of 2018, she was promoted to Assistant Director of the K-12 Global Education Outreach unit in addition to her duties as facilities manager. While juggling all of these duties, this employee led the GEO team to serve over 25,000 people through the K-12 outreach mission this year. The unit also received the prestigious NAFSA Paul Simon Spotlight Award for Internationalizing the Campus and Excellence in International Education. This employee's dedication to students and love of culture are evident in her day-to-day interactions as a teacher in the K-12 GEO unit-- whether in the classroom, working with faculty or community partners, or as an active member of the Lubbock community.
