Ivette Noriega is a doctoral candidate interested in the brain development and cognitive functioning of children exposed to trauma and stressful events. She recently completed a US Student Fulbright exchange program in Medellin, Colombia, where she studied the neurocognitive effects of PTSD in children exposed to violence. Ivette is interested in the application of technology in this research area, particularly in the use of eye tracking devices and fMRI.
