Study Abroad Competitive Scholarship (SACS)

The Study Abroad Competitive Scholarship is funded by the $4 International Education Fee that all Texas Tech students pay every semester. The scholarship is competitive with approximately 50% of students who complete the application being awarded.

TTU domestic and international degree-seeking students who will study abroad on Texas Tech approved programs are eligible to apply. Not sure if your study abroad program is approved? Review the program options webpage to confirm.

Students may apply and be awarded in more than one term. A committee of faculty and staff makes the determination of who will receive a scholarship. Study Abroad staff have no input in the award decision.
