About TTU Study Abroad



Texas Tech University offers a comprehensive range of academic programs in more than 50 countries. Qualified students may study abroad for varying lengths of time - from a brief spring break session to a full academic year. Approved international programs include internships, service-learning, research opportunities, foreign language courses, and courses taught in English that fulfill degree requirements. Study Abroad staff have established strong relationships with campus departments and international partners to provide students with safe and productive experiences abroad.

We accomplish this by collaborating with faculty and staff on campus, plus partners around the world. We are experts in international education with years of experience traveling, living and working internationally. We have a passion for helping students meet their goals.

Our Programs

We know that Red Raiders face obstacles to study abroad. That's why we have built about 200 programs around the world to provide an array of options for students with all different goals, budgets, fields of study, and language expertise.

In 2022, Texas Tech was honored to be named a top 10 institution in the United States for study abroad participation.

Texas Tech is known for innovation and excellence in international education. In 2018, Texas Tech was awarded a second Senator Paul Simon Award for Comprehensive Internationalization by NAFSA: Association of International Educators.
