Study Abroad Scholarships
After considering the costs of your chosen study abroad program, it is time to begin researching scholarships and funding opportunities both at Texas Tech and externally.
A few quick tips:
- Start Early! Many scholarships disperse funds on a first-come first-serve basis, so getting applications submitted quickly is advantageous.
- Be aware of deadlines. Some national scholarships are due 6 months to a year before your study abroad program starts.
- Make a Plan. Requirements for every individual scholarship will vary, but with proper planning and commitment, scholarship opportunities are available for a wide variety of students and study abroad programs.
