Not sure what kind of program you are doing?

• Faculty-Led Programs - Study abroad with a Texas Tech faculty member or study at Texas Tech Costa Rica*
• Affiliate (Partner-Provider) Programs - Study abroad, direct enroll, internship, research, and shadowing opportunities offered through one of Texas Tech's approved partner providers.**
• Reciprocal Exchange Programs - Study at one of Texas Tech's exchange partner universities while paying Texas Tech tuition and fees.

*Some Faculty-Led Programs have earlier application deadlines. Please refer to your program brochure or contact the faculty leader for the official deadline.

**Some Affiliate (Partner-Provider) Programs, including direct enroll, internships, research, and shadowing, may have earlier application deadlines established by the provider. Students participating in an affiliate program will also complete a provider application after receiving approval from Texas Tech.

Not every program location offered by an affiliate provider has been approved by Texas Tech. Students must select from approved program locations.

Application deadlines for future academic years will generally follow the same timeline but may vary slightly.

Applications open well before the posted deadlines. Late applications are not accepted, so students are encouraged to apply early.

Some programs may reach capacity before the application deadline. Once a program is full, applications will close. Applying early provides the best opportunity to secure a place in your preferred program.
